Why Watching and Learning from Users Matters to Me

I can create what I think are great solutions but ultimately I am not my user! Different experiences are what guide people in their approach to achieving their goals.

Who am I to presume to know what they are thinking or feeling?

Until I engage with users, I won't know what problems I'm really trying to solve and how best to solve it for them.

All in the pursuit of creating a better experience for people.

You're almost always wrong about your users.

If you don't talk to your customers, how will you know how to talk to your customers?

When I design, I work very hard to make the interface experience feel like there's a human on the other end, not a computer.
